Abstract
In our center, among 1965 patients registered with malignancies for treatment during the period from May 2011 till December 2013, 3 cases with multiple primary tumors (MPMs) reported, one of them was excluded due to inadequacy of data and we present the remaining two cases. First case was 82 years old female patient with colon cancer and thyroid malignancy, the second case was 61 years old female patient with colon cancer and breast cancer. Both cases were metachronous and discovered accidently during the regular follow up, and managed in curative intent. These cases are being reported to make clinicians aware that individuals with cancer are at increased risk for subsequent cancers, which must be differentiated from recurrent or metastatic disease as the treatment plan will be different.
