Abstract
Cyclic thrombocytopenia is an uncommon disease with only a handful of cases of same reported worldwide. It is often misdiagnosed as an idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura. It may be idiopathic or associated with myeloproliferative or myelodysplastic syndromes. We report a 38 year old lady who presented with recurrent episodes of thrombocytopenia followed by rebound thrombocytosis, who after extensive evaluation was found to have tuberculous lymphadenitis. To date there have been no prior case reports of the same.
