Abstract
Facial diplegia is rare and occurs as a simultaneous onset. The relative lack of awareness of this event often leads to dilemma in diagnosis. In this case study, we report a 22-year old female who developed an isolated, spontaneous, simultaneous facial diplegia which was misdiagnosed as bilateral Bell’s Palsy. Later, after a detailed clinical evaluation, it has been found to be a variant of Guillian Barre syndrome and managed appropriately.
