Abstract
Psychiatric disorders can be associated with seizure disorder as comorbidity or they can be secondary to structural lesions in the brain. Patients with temporal lobe epilepsy frequently come to the attention of psychiatrists since the condition may involve gross disorders of thought and emotion. Here we will discuss about a case of mesial temporal sclerosis presenting with 6 years seizure and recent onset psychosis (delusion disorder) and OCD with an urge for cannibalism. Patient achieved an excellent response with carbamazepine, fluvoxamine and low dose risperidone.
