Abstract
Background: Extra-medullary plasmacytoma (EMP) forms less than 10% of the overall diagnosis of malignancies related to plasma cells in a solitary manner. Whereas more than 80% of all EMP arise in the upper aero-digestive tract, only about 10% of them are laryngeal. Case Report: We hereby report two cases of laryngeal plasmacytomas. One case showed complete resolution but another one showed recurrence despite all measures taken. Conclusion: Complete laryngeal examination may help in diagnosis of rare diseases like extra-medullary plasmacytoma.
